Thames Clipper

As part of the Harry Potter walking tour I went on the other week I got to enjoy a wee trip on the Thames Clipper. I’ve wanted to try out the clipper for a while as it would be a great way for me to get to the city but unfortunately my current flat is on the wrong side of the river 🙁

The ride was a little bumpy as you’d expect but what struck me as odd was how long in seemed to take. I mean it’s not like we were on there for a massive amount of time but it definitely felt like longer than it should have taken if that makes sense. Definitely more of a tourist attraction than a viable daily commute if you ask me! My ticket was included in the price of the tour but looking online the riverboat is way more expensive to use than the tube, I reckon it’s up there with the Emirates Airline in usefulness…
